Do I have to use your storefront?
You can build your own frontend with the Store API and TypeScript SDK. We also plan to offer a basic theme with configurable design tokens on both hosted plans; merchant-facing theme settings are still in development.
What counts as a Store?
One brand with its own catalog publications, configuration, customers and content. Products can be shared between Stores on the same account.
Can I move from hosted to self-hosted?
Both run the same release. Tell us before you switch and we plan the move with you, including your data.
What do I need to self-host?
A Linux server for the API and the worker, PostgreSQL, S3-compatible storage for media and an email provider.
